Jilian loves corn on the cob....
And, strawberry shortcakes....looks A LOT like Daddy!
We've decided to have her use the doggie door to go in and out of the backyard (we don't even have a dog!) :)
We spend most of our evenings outside now that the weather is so beautiful, and Jilian is 'learning' how to swing. She's only fallen off once, and she cried a tiny bit. I told her that she just needed to dust it off and try again. AND SHE DID! I was so proud of her! She DID learn, however, how to teeter-totter (thanks Aunt Janie), and she can go really, really high. My, how the time goes by....
I forgot to post some pics from Easter. We spent it with Brad's parents, Mimi and Poppi. Jilian loves to go to their house, mostly because she pretty much runs the place! She did pretty good during the service, and her favorite part is putting money in the collection basket.

This weekend, Brad's cousin and family from Chicago came to visit. His little one is 16 months. Don't you just wanna squeeze those little cheeks?? I did - A LOT!
We went to a Frisco RoughRiders game (the minor league baseball team), and we got to tour the facility. It was so cool! I felt like a tourist with my camera around my neck, taking a picture of everything. We got up close and personal with Deuce and Daisy, the prairie dog mascots. They're kinda scary at first, but the kids love them!
Well, we wanted to get the 'Chicago Donovans' a little something to remember the RoughRiders. Brad asked me what we should get Haley. "Um, something soft and small. Do you want me to come with you?" "Nay, I'll get it." This is what he came back with....
Perfect. Two baseball bats for the girls. Exactly OPPOSITE of what I suggested. Just like a good husband. Awesome. They conveniently 'forgot' to take theirs home, so now we have TWO baseball bats.
Chicago Donovans, I'm shipping it to you tomorrow!
